Hi everyone!

One of my favorite blog posts from other bloggers I follow are their favorites posts. Something about experiencing someone’s favorite thing and then loving that item yourself just warms my heart. I’ve always loved recommendations from other people. Being that I love these posts so much, I figured I would start doing them myself! Each month, I plan on sharing my favorite things with you. They may range from month to month, but each month I hope to include some of my favorite beauty, fashion, and home goods as well as any other digital content like music, television shows, and blogs that I am enjoying.

monthly favorites

Urban Decay Naked Palette – I have been a dedicated Urban Decay customer for years now, I own a ton of their palettes (just ask Freddie)! However, this one is easily my favorite. I have hit the pan on at least three of the eyeshadows and this is the second one I have owned. The colors on this palette will easily work with any skin tone and the eyeshadows themselves just feel so luxurious. I love the quality of the eyeshadows, they’re so easy to apply and I love the brush that Urban Decay provides you with in just about every palette. Give this palette a try, I promise you, you won’t regret it!

Maybelline Studio Master Precise Eyeliner – I’ve used this eyeliner for about a year and a half now and I haven’t found another one that I have liked that works nearly as well. I love that it is a liquid eyeliner that comes in the form of a pen and I also love the tip on it. It almost reminds me of a calligraphy brush; it allows you to wing out your eyeliner very well and the lines your drawing can be easily manipulated to be thicker or thinner. I would say that the only downside to this eyeliner is that it seems to dry out or run out very quickly, which I am not a fan of. Beyond that, I couldn’t ask for a better day-to-day eyeliner!

Goody Simple Styles Spin Pin – Whew. That’s a mouthful! So, honesty time… My hair has grown out and I don’t know what to do with it. I’m not well-versed in hairstyles but I do know my way around a straightener and a curling iron. However, I have really thick hair and straightening or curling my hair on a daily basis just isn’t going to work for me. I decided to pick up some of these clips and give them a try and I actually really like them. Two spin pins will hold my hair in a ballerina bun all day and when I take it down, they actually give my hair a nice wave!

C9 Champion Yoga Pants – Being pregnant, my biggest concern is comfort and holy moly, these things are comfortable. I own 3-4 pair and I have been able to wear them comfortably throughout my pregnancy. They’re really high quality and I really love that the fabric is thicker than most yoga pants because they last longer and you don’t have to worry about them being see through. Another plus about these pants is they come in ‘long’ sizes which I love because I am fairly tall!

Clog Slippers – I don’t even know if this is the right category for these, but I couldn’t leave them out of this post. It is so weird because my body temperature has changed so much with being pregnant. I have always been a very cold-temperatured person and being pregnant, I am the complete opposite most of the time… My feet and toes just didn’t get the memo. It has been essential for me to have something on my feet during pregnancy, otherwise my tootsies are freezing off!

Maxi Dresses – This year maxi dresses have been an essential for me. You may have seen me mention the particular maxi dress I have linked in my pregnancy favorites post. However, I have been obsessed with any maxi dress I can get my hands on. The ease of just having to pick one piece of clothing to wear has made getting ready so much easier. Sometimes it is hard to find the right outfit when you’re pregnant and your body is going through a ton of changes; I’ve found maxi dresses are the perfect solution.

Home Scents Electric Wax Warmer – I love wax warmers. I love that they serve a dual purpose of looking pretty and making my house smell amazing. I had one in just about every room in my apartment and I loved that they made our house smell so nice. It was also nice to get the smell of burning a candle without having to worry about forgetting to blow the candle out and burning the house down. I am definitely stocking up on these and we will have one in each bathroom, our living room, our kitchen, and possibly our master bedroom.

Concrete Tealight Candle Holder – I got these as a gift from my wonderful mother after I obsessed over hers for months. These were actually one of the first pieces of home décor in Freddie and I’s first apartment together. I know they don’t look like much at first glance, but when you throw a tealight in these candle holders, they’re absolutely gorgeous. They’re on the expensive end of things, but they’re handmade and I would buy them over and over again, to be honest.

But first, Coffee Print – One of the biggest things that Freddie and I have in common is coffee. We both love coffee. Before I became pregnant, every morning we would sit down and talk over a cup of coffee. We made sure that in our old apartment and now our new house, we have a little coffee nook that has all of our mugs and our coffee maker, and of course this adorable print!

Spotify – I have always been a Pandora girl. I loved that Pandora introduced me to different songs, albums, and artists that I had never heard of before. While I still love Pandora, Spotify has kind of stolen my heart. I’m late to the party, I know. What I really love is the playlists that they have for just about anything. On our way down to our babymoon, Freddie and I loved the road trip playlist. If you like Pandora and you haven’t given Spotify a try, just download it and see if you like it!

Disney’s Greatest – I have loved, loved, loved, playing music for my little one while he is growing. He seems to thoroughly enjoy it too (I only know because he gives me a swift kick to the bladder when I turn the music off)! While searching for music to play, it occurred to me that there is no better music than some Disney songs. So, I gave Spotify a quick search and found the Disney’s Greatest albums and started listening and little man and I fell in love. I have enjoyed listening to these albums so much because it has brought back so many memories and I can sing along (badly) and it just really makes me feel like I’m bonding with my little one.

UnReal – Freddie and I both loved this show when it came on last summer and when springtime rolled around, we were really anxious to see if it was coming back. Thankfully, it did and this show is as good as ever. I love that the show keeps you guessing and I really do think that it is very interesting. Being a lover of reality shows, it gives you a little bit of a deeper perspective into the producing role in these shows (obviously more exaggerated) and I really find that interesting! If you’re looking for a good summertime drama, I’d definitely recommend checking it out!

katiedidwhat – I stumbled upon this blog on Pinterest and I instantly fell in love. To be completely honest, between her blog and one of my other favorite blogs, Pretty Neat Living, I was inspired to reboot my blog and give it a facelift! I absolutely love the content of hers that I have come across so far. I love that she has so many photos of her gorgeous family and I could just go through her posts all day. I love that her posts are family centric and with a little one on the way, I really related to that. Seeing her blog made me want to go out and take gorgeous photos and write amazing and thoughtful posts!

I think that is it for my favorites this month! I hope that you guys enjoyed seeing some of my favorite products and things. What are some of your favorite products? Do we have similar favorites?
