Hi everyone!

I cannot believe how quickly January went by! Really though, it completely flew by I didn’t know a month could go by so quickly. What a busy month January was though, I guess there is truth to the statement “time flies when you’re having fun”!

Benefit BadGal Lash Mascara – The first thing I look for in a mascara is a big brush; my old favorite was the Smashbox Xposure mascara. Then they unfortunately changed the formula and it didn’t do what I needed it to. So, when I saw the huge, fluffy brush for this mascara I knew I had to give it a try. I purchased a sample size to try and I loved it! I make it a point to at least wear mascara every day and this mascara does so much for my eyelashes, it is definitely a new favorite!

Sonicare Rechargeable Toothbrush – I had a scare at the end of December that my gums were receding on my bottom teeth very badly. Fortunately, they aren’t receding as bad as I thought, but I was told to be very careful! When you have limited time to brush your teeth, you tend to brush a little harder than you should. At least I did, which wasn’t too good for my teeth! So, my best friend recommended a Sonicare and I absolutely love it. My teeth feel so amazingly clean after I brush them and I love the feeling. It’s like coming back from the dentist every day!

Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette – If you remember from one of my previous favorites posts, I highlighted the original Naked palette. I am a huge fan of Urban Decay and this is my go-to palette day-to-day! I have hit pan on my two favorite colors and I am devastated. I’m hoping to maybe do a tutorial soon for my every day look, so keep your eyes out!

Petunia Pickle Bottom Boxy Backpack – Previously, I had the Skip Hop Forma Backpack Diaper Bag and absolutely loved it – you can see my review here. I knew after having a backpack style diaper bag that I would want another one. However, I also wanted the freedom to wear it differently if I needed to. I asked for suggestions in my mommy group and someone suggested the Boxy backpack and I fell in love! The fabric is what they call a “waxed canvas” and liquids literally ball up and fall off of it. I don’t know about you but my bag get covered in various liquids, so this feature is great! My other favorite feature about this bag is how large it is. I’m an over-packer and this bag works wonderfully for me!

Torrid Plaid Camp Shirt –  I know you have all heard about the “mom-iform”, well, this is mine! These shirts are so soft and so comfortable and they go with everything: jeans, leggings, it could even go with a high waisted skirt! I want them in all of the colors more than anything.

SpaRoom SpaMist Essential Oil Diffuser – My mom got this diffuser first and I thought it was so pretty. I had been looking at essential oil diffusers but didn’t pull the trigger on one because I really didn’t know what it was I was looking for. Well, when I saw my mom’s I went out later that day and got the same one. Mostly because it lights up and changes colors and I thought it was so pretty. The only thing I wish I could change about this diffuser is the amount of water you could put in it. It runs for about four hours and does a great job, but I wish it ran for longer!

Aura Cacia Essential Oils – To be honest, I didn’t do a lot of research on which essential oils to buy brand wise. Instead, I came across these at my local Wegmans store and bought them. My favorite ones are sweet orange, lavender, and the creative juices blend. I love to put on the creative juices as I am drafting blog posts! I’m not sure if these are the best money can buy, but they work great for me!

Cylinder Flower Vase (similar) – I have three or four of these, no joke. One has potpourri in it, one has acrylic beads in it and holds my makeup brushes, and one currently has fresh flowers in it. I love these because they serve so many purposes; they don’t just have to be used for flowers.

Lifecake AppiPhone|Android – I found this app on Pinterest and was very intrigued by the premise of it. You use this app to upload photos of your child or yourself or whatever and the app organizes them chronologically. In addition you can scroll back to any point in your child’s life and look at photos from that particular day, week, month, etc. I have absolutely loved this app for photos of Jacob and upload a ton every week. It allows me to free up space on my phone without deleting valuable memories and it allows me to look back on precious photos of my little boy! My absolute favorite feature is the slideshow feature.

Gilmore Girls a Year in the Life – In my favorites last month I talked about Gilmore Girls and how I quickly fell in love with the show. Well, I started the series because I heard about this revitalization of the show. Freddie and I cried after finishing the series in one day. I loved this show so much and I’m so sad it’s over!

The North Face Denali 2 Men’s Jacket – My mother got me North Face jacket for Christmas one year and my post-baby body does not fit into it. The women’s jackets were all too small and very uncomfortable. So, I decided to go with the men’s jacket and I’m so happy with it. I love that it is nice and roomy and I love all the extra pockets!

I hope you guys enjoyed! What were your favorites this January? Don’t forget to share them below! 🙂

  1. I loved the revival, my Mom watched it with me and even she liked it and she never liked the original series. I totally saw the ending coming and felt it was very fitting.

  2. It was so good! My husband actually got me to watch the show. I’d never seen it until the revival came out. Then I binged all seven seasons in like 3 weeks! 🙈
