Hi everyone!

Now that we are near the end of my pregnancy, we finally have gotten just about all of our baby shopping done. These last few products, we were so excited to get because most of them were larger ticket items! Just like my last baby favorites post, I want to reiterate that we have not used these products yet, but these are products that we are really excited to use and we hope baby will love them!

Baby Favorites Eight Months

Fisher-Price My Little Sungapuppy Deluxe Bouncer – When Freddie and I first saw the Snugapuppy line, we just thought it was so adorable. You guys know we love dogs and I couldn’t resist adding these to our registry. Thankfully, we were gifted the bouncer at our baby shower and I can’t wait for baby to use it. My mom said that I loved being in my bouncer, hopefully our little guy will too!

Fisher-Price My Little Sungapuppy Cradle N’ Swing – Again, my mom said that I loved my swing when I was a baby and I have heard so many good things about Fisher-Price swings. What I really love about this product is the ability swivel the seat to the left or to the right. I also love that it plays music and has a connected mobile and mirrored dome for baby to look at. I hope that this product holds up, because we cannot wait to use it!

4moms Baby Bath Tub – Freddie has used this product before with his first son and he insisted that we get one for our little guy! The best feature about this tub, in my opinion, is the built-in thermometer feature. Babies have such sensitive skin and I wanted to make sure that I took the precautions to make sure baby didn’t get burned. I love that the thermometer turns blue if the water is too cold and red if the water is too hot, it’s easy and about the same price as a normal baby tub!

Munchkin Secure Grip Changing Pad – Originally, we added this to our registry because it was at Target and that’s where we planned on buying it. However, after looking at other changing pads, I really liked this one because of the secure “feet” that it has on it. It prevents the pad from sliding around when squirmy baby is wriggling around, which I can only imagine will be helpful when I have a little one wiggling around!

Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Bottles – I’ve mentioned before that I would like to try to breastfeed, but if I can’t, I am not going to stress about it. However, I did get a pump and I do plan on pumping so that Freddie can feed the baby. Freddie really enjoys the bonding time during feedings, so I wanted to afford him the opportunity to feed baby also. We decided upon these bottles because I really liked that the shape of the nipple was similar to that of a normal breast. I really am looking forward to getting to use these bottles, I am really hoping they work well for us!

Infantino Go GaGa Tummy Time Mat – This purchase was actually an impulse buy. When we were shopping at Target for some leftover items that we needed, we realized we didn’t have a mat for baby to lay on or do tummy time on! We have hardwood floors throughout our new house, so putting baby directly on the floor isn’t an option for us, as I am scared it would be too hard. Freddie picked up this mat and I thought it would be perfect! The reason why I liked this mat so much was because it’s high contrast, which is good for visual stimulation for the baby and it has a mirror, which I thought would be fun for him!

Spectra S2 Breast Pump – I feel like this could be a mommy favorite or a baby favorite, but I wanted to include it here because it’s going to be used for baby. As I mentioned in my birth plan post, I do want to try to breastfeed. I went to a company called Aeroflow Breastpumps and filled out a quick online form to see if I qualified for a free pump with my insurance and to my surprise, I did! The process was super easy, all online, and I got my breast pump very quickly. I would definitely recommend going through this company if you want to see if you qualify for a free pump through your insurance. With that being said, they give you all the options that you qualify for and I was stuck between this pump and the Medela Pump in Style. Ultimately, I decided on the Spectra because of all the amazing feedback I got from the birth groups that I am a part of. I haven’t used it yet, however, I did turn it on and it’s really quiet and I love love love that it is a closed system, which means no moldy parts and it’s much easier to clean! I’ll definitely be giving an updated review on this product once I get a chance to use it!
